Founded in Kyoto in 2016, Suiso was born from a simple question: Why should cleaning products be harsh and utilitarian when they could be beautiful and gentle? Our founder, Yumiko Tanaka, a former chemist with a passion for traditional Japanese aesthetics, set out to transform bathroom care from a mundane chore into a sensory experience.
The name "Suiso" (水素) means "hydrogen" in Japanese, symbolizing our commitment to pure, clean formulations that harness the power of water and natural ingredients. Our headquarters nestled in the serene outskirts of Kyoto provides the perfect environment for our team to draw inspiration from Japan's rich cultural heritage of finding beauty in everyday objects and rituals.
